In occasione della Mostra Internazionale "Italy calls the world" che si svolgerà a New York dal 21 giugno presso la Fridman Gallery, abbiamo avuto il piacere di intervistare Tamar Kakabadze tra gli artisti selezionati per questo evento in videoesposizione.
1. Benvenuta, per cominciare, racconta ai nostri lettori quando hai scoperto la tua passione e come hai capito che si trattava di un vero e proprio bisogno spirituale.
Da bambina, ho sempre avuto un certo interesse per il disegno. I miei genitori se ne accorsero e mi aiutarono a coltivare questo mio hobby. In seguito, ho studiato all'Accademia di Belle Arti, ma ben presto la vita mi ha portato su strade diverse.
Negli ultimi 8 anni, però, ho riscoperto questa passione quando avevo davvero bisogno di una guida spirituale, per così dire, e l'arte è diventata il mio principale obiettivo.
2. In questa mostra newyorkese, le tue opere saranno esposte digitalmente sul maxi-schermo della galleria. Cosa rappresenta per te questa opportunità e quali emozioni stai provando?
Sono davvero felice ed emozionata per questa straordinaria opportunità e desidero ringraziare gli organizzatori. Non vedo l'ora che inizi la mostra!
3. Parlaci delle opere selezionate per questo evento e di cosa speri di trasmettere attraverso di esse.
Per questa mostra ho proposto alcune delle mie opere più recenti, che ho dedicato a mio nipote, in cui ho riversato tutta la mia energia positiva, la felicità e la speranza.
4. Se potessi incontrare un artista del passato e osservare le sue opere, chi sceglieresti?
È difficile dirlo, ma credo che sceglierei Vincent Van Gogh, per la sua visione artistica e la sua incomparabile e riconoscibile tavolozza di colori.
5. Se dovessi descrivere la tua arte in tre parole, quali sceglieresti?
Non è mai facile parlare del proprio lavoro, ma lo descriverò attraverso le emozioni che mi guidano quando lavoro: emozione, colore ed espressività.

On the occasion of the International Exhibition "Italy Calls the World," which will take place in New York from June 21st at the Fridman Gallery, we had the pleasure of interviewing Tamar Kakabadze, one of the artists selected for this video exhibition event.
1. Welcome! To begin, tell our readers when you discovered your passion and how you realized it was a true spiritual need.
As a child, I always had an interest in drawing. My parents noticed this and helped me cultivate this hobby. I later studied at the Academy of Fine Arts, but life soon took me down different paths.
Over the past eight years, however, I rediscovered this passion when I truly needed spiritual guidance, so to speak, and art became my primary focus.
2. In this New York exhibition, your works will be displayed digitally on the gallery's giant screen. What does this opportunity mean to you, and what emotions are you feeling?
I'm truly happy and excited about this extraordinary opportunity and would like to thank the organizers. I can't wait for the exhibition to begin!
3. Tell us about the works selected for this event and what you hope to convey through them.
For this exhibition, I've featured some of my most recent works, which I dedicated to my nephew, into which I've poured all my positive energy, happiness, and hope.
4. If you could meet an artist from the past and observe their works, who would you choose?
It's hard to say, but I think I'd choose Vincent Van Gogh, for his artistic vision and his incomparable, recognizable color palette.
5. If you had to describe your art in three words, what would they be?
It's never easy to talk about your work, but I'll describe it through the emotions that guide me when I work: emotion, color, and expressiveness.
