Artista poliedrica, volge l'attenzione alla figura femminile, nonché all'osservazione e allo studio minuzioso della natura. La natura per lei è forza vitale, è energia, è rinascita, è libertà; è un connubio di sensazioni profonde che ella riversa sulle sue opere.

Con lo sguardo costantemente rivolto all'innovazione, Ogliari si distingue per un approccio radicalmente libero e aperto alla pratica artistica, presentando una ricerca in continua trasformazione. Rifiutando gabbie stilistiche e definizioni rigide, predilige territori di confine dove pittura, installazione e gesto si intrecciano, volgendo verso una sintassi visiva profondamente personale e sorprendente.

Nelle sue opere, linguaggi eterogenei, segni, elementi e simboli si incontrano e si fondono su superfici non convenzionali che divengono spazi da esplorare. L'artista interroga il rapporto tra materia e pensiero, tra forma e impulso emotivo, muovendosi in una dimensione processuale in cui il fare diventa esso stesso racconto. Al centro della sua poetica si percepisce una tensione quasi alchemica tra ordine e disordine, tra controllo e caos.

Ogliari non impone la forma: la ascolta, la lascia affiorare. Le sue composizioni, spontanee ma mai arbitrarie, sono il frutto di un dialogo profondo con la materia, condotto con rigore, sensibilità e apertura. Ed è proprio questa inquietudine creativa, questa continua messa in discussione, a renderla un'artista autentica, dalla cifra ormai riconoscibile. I suoi lavori invitano lo spettatore ad una fruizione lenta, partecipe, riflessiva. Sono opere che si rivelano nel tempo, che sedimentano nello sguardo, generando domande più che certezze. Ogliari non cerca il consenso, ma il confronto; non mira a compiacere, ma a provocare uno scarto percettivo, una risonanza intima. Estremamente importante è, poi, il suo rapporto con la natura. L'artista ci offre un'arte che interpreta, trasfigura e restituisce la natura come presenza viva, da ascoltare e da "abitare" spiritualmente. Il tessuto, materiale fragile e quotidiano, si carica di un valore simbolico profondo: si trasforma in acqua che scorre, diviene veicolo di concetti universali (vita, trasformazione, memoria, armonia), che Ogliari plasma con estrema delicatezza. È ciò che percepiamo osservando opere come E l'acqua scorre…come il tempo, un'installazione sospesa, dove il panneggio dipinto diventa elemento vivo, fluido, scultoreo; una metafora visiva del tempo, che parla di una continuità che è insieme disgregazione e rinascita.

Il Canto dell'acqua riprende temi dell'opera precedente, ma sposta il focus sulla plasticità e la tridimensionalità. La tensione tra le due metà dell'opera è cruciale: a sinistra, un paesaggio sereno, immerso nel verde e solcato da rondini, evoca l'atmosfera vaporosa e luminosa dell'Impressionismo; a destra, la cascata irrompe con vigore, scolpendo la superficie in un dinamismo quasi scultoreo, donando la viva sensazione di trovarsi di fronte a una linfa vitale che pulsa. Il risultato è una pace meditativa, dove l'acqua non si limita a scorrere, ma diventa canto dell'anima, carezza liquida che accompagna lo sguardo e l'interiorità in un percorso interiore.

Ornella Ogliari - Listening to the matter: art as a process of transformation

A multifaceted artist, she turns her attention to the female figure, as well as to the careful observation and study of nature. For her, nature is a vital force, energy, rebirth, and freedom; it is a fusion of deep sensations that she pours into her works. 

Always looking toward innovation, Ogliari stands out for her radically free and open approach to artistic practice, presenting a body of work in continuous transformation. Rejecting stylistic cages and rigid definitions, she favors boundary territories where painting, installation, and gesture intertwine, leading to a deeply personal and surprising visual syntax.

In her works, heterogeneous languages, signs, elements, and symbols meet and merge on unconventional surfaces that become spaces to explore. The artist investigates the relationship between matter and thought, between form and emotional impulse, moving within a process-based dimension where the act of making becomes a narrative in itself. At the heart of her poetics, one perceives an almost alchemical tension between order and disorder, between control and chaos.

Ogliari does not impose form: she listens to it, allows it to emerge. Her compositions, spontaneous yet never arbitrary, are the result of a profound dialogue with matter, conducted with rigor, sensitivity, and openness. It is precisely this creative restlessness, this constant self-questioning, that makes her an authentic artist with a now unmistakable signature. Her works invite the viewer to a slow, engaged, reflective experience. They are pieces that reveal themselves over time, that settle in the gaze, generating questions rather than certainties. Ogliari does not seek approval, but confrontation; she does not aim to please, but to provoke a perceptual shift, an intimate resonance.

Equally important is her relationship with nature. The artist offers us an art that interprets, transfigures, and returns nature as a living presence—something to be listened to and spiritually "inhabited." Fabric, a fragile and everyday material, is imbued with profound symbolic value: it transforms into flowing water, becoming a vehicle for universal concepts (life, transformation, memory, harmony), which Ogliari shapes with extreme delicacy.

This is what we perceive when observing works such as E l'acqua scorre…come il tempo, a suspended installation where the painted drapery becomes a living, fluid, sculptural element—a visual metaphor for time, speaking of a continuity that is both disintegration and rebirth.

Il Canto dell'acqua reprises themes from the previous work but shifts the focus toward plasticity and three-dimensionality. The tension between the two halves of the piece is crucial: on the left, a serene landscape, immersed in green and crossed by swallows, evokes the misty and luminous atmosphere of Impressionism; on the right, the waterfall bursts forth with force, sculpting the surface with a nearly sculptural dynamism, giving the vivid sensation of facing a pulsing vital essence. The result is a meditative peace, where water does not simply flow but becomes a song of the soul, a liquid caress that guides both gaze and inner self on an introspective journey.
