Il 13 febbraio, il Museo d'Arte e Scienza di Milano ospiterà la cerimonia di premiazione degli Olympus Arts Awards. Tra i 10 nomi selezionati per la Sezione Poesia vi è anche quello di Alla Sergiienko, artista e poetessa che qui conosciamo meglio attraverso questa intervista.

1. Nella tua poesia, il risveglio non è solo un fatto biologico, ma un "incontro con i volti dell'Universo". Cosa significa per te questo "punto" da cui tutto ha inizio ogni mattina?

«Il risveglio è un sentimento di gioia che riempie una persona nelle ore mattutine, semplicemente perché ami la vita. Il risveglio può avvenire nel momento in cui si scopre la verità, quando una serie di conoscenze, eventi ed esperienze di vita personale si uniscono miracolosamente e rivelano l'orizzonte di un mondo precedentemente sconosciuto. Il risveglio, come impulso, come risultato di un'interazione, inconscio ma dotato di un reale slancio e sostegno, può sorgere per la realizzazione di qualche idea o progetto. È un sentimento che unisce tutte le sfere di una personalità poliedrica. Le persone sono una creazione unica, il cui corpo è un magnifico vascello, una casa, un rifugio per l'anima, una materia sottile capace, come un bambino, di crescere e svilupparsi armoniosamente. Il punto nella mia poesia è un segno, un'espressione convenzionale dell'essenza di una persona, il centro in cui sono coordinate tutte le potenzialità e gli interessi della personalità. Il punto come intersezione di tutte le sfere di interazione della natura umana. È in esso che viene presa una decisione olistica e che la vita attiva ricomincia ogni giorno. Nella mia poesia, la vita di una persona, lo sviluppo della sua coscienza, è associata a un fiore: tutte le sue forme e qualità sono insite nel seme, e ogni giorno ci sono le condizioni per il loro sviluppo. A mio avviso, al mattino, all'inizio di ogni giorno, una persona vive un momento speciale, quello che determina la scelta della direzione dello sviluppo. In questo punto, a mio parere, si concentrano qualità della personalità come la capacità di interagire con se stessi, costruire relazioni con gli altri e percepire adeguatamente eventi e condizioni. Da questo punto l'uomo inizia il suo cammino e ad esso ritorna. I volti dell'universo sono coloro verso i quali l'uomo si affretta: esseri divini, grandi persone del passato, coloro che hanno lasciato un'eredità di luminosa saggezza all'umanità come segno di cura per le generazioni future; e sono le persone che attualmente hanno un genuino interesse per la vita, la amano e sanno come prendersi cura della propria vita e di quella degli altri. Nella bellezza della natura, nei suoi cicli e nelle sue leggi, vedo la saggezza del Creatore, e nelle opere d'arte vedo la maestria di quelle persone che, attraverso il loro lavoro, hanno preservato la purezza della percezione dell'essenza umana vicina alla perfezione, che hanno creato musica, dipinti e opere letterarie che rimangono attuali in tempi diversi, per persone di diverse età, professioni e nazionalità.»

2. Scrivi del desiderio di trasmettere messaggi in un "libro di pura coscienza" attraverso colori, orbite e impulsi d'amore. In che modo la tua percezione artistica e visiva influenza la tua creatività poetica?

«Scrivere una poesia avviene sempre in modo spontaneo; arriva come risposta a qualche domanda, a un interesse cognitivo, a una situazione problematica. La forma poetica definisce con estrema precisione una posizione, è una risposta rapida e vera. Il motivo per scrivere una poesia può essere o una reazione di disaccordo, o, al contrario, un momento di ammirazione per quanto tutto sia organizzato armoniosamente. Immagini, simboli e segni per me sono diverse manifestazioni della diversità di un unico mondo. Scienza, poesia, musica, pittura sono sfere in cui il potenziale di una persona può essere magnificamente realizzato. Quando scrivo una poesia, la vedo visivamente, sento ciò di cui scrivo, e queste sensazioni si trasformano e fluiscono in simboli del discorso, segni sulla carta.»

3. In un passaggio molto umano della poesia, si riconosce che "a volte c'è il vuoto, una mancanza di sentimenti". In che modo la speranza – o quella che tu chiami "abiti fatti di petali" – trasforma questo vuoto in un nuovo cammino?

«Questa parte della poesia parla del fatto che posso commettere errori, andare nella direzione sbagliata, contrariamente a quanto suggerisce il mio istinto naturale. Attualmente, le persone vivono in un potente spazio informativo; a volte sembra che la connessione con le nostre origini naturali sia completamente perduta, che il mondo delle idee altrui, la virtualità della realtà, ci abbia strappato dal contesto della vita, facendoci ruotare così tanto che la sensazione della velocità della vita reale è scomparsa per sempre. È allora che sorge istintivamente un sentimento di ansia e, in risposta, come consolazione, arriva ciò che nella poesia chiamo speranza: "Guarda, non tutto è così male. Inizia un nuovo giorno, e i tuoi cari sono accanto a te, sei prezioso per loro; i colleghi ti aspettano al lavoro, sei necessario per loro; il tuo amico ha chiamato, vuole mostrarti lo schizzo di un nuovo quadro". La speranza mostra che hai qualcuno e un posto dove andare. So che per incontrare le mie scoperte domani, devo capire l'errore, tornare al punto di partenza e iniziare a muovermi nella direzione giusta. Tali "errori" o giorni apparentemente "improduttivi" sono necessari affinché una persona sviluppi certe virtù, qualità interiori e valori. Il "petalo di conoscenza" di un tale giorno è speciale: forse differisce nella forma, forse nel colore o nella struttura. Osserva un fiore qualsiasi; ognuno dei suoi petali ha le sue caratteristiche. Il mondo è bello e armonioso!»

4. Essere inclusi tra i 10 vincitori degli Olympus Arts Awards è un traguardo che conferma il valore del tuo percorso. Come ti senti all'idea che le tue poesie siano esposte in un luogo così importante come il Museo d'Arte e Scienza di Milano?

«Essere inclusa tra i vincitori con la mia poesia è significativo e importante per me. Il fatto è che la poesia non è stata scritta per il concorso; contiene qualcosa che un tempo risuonava in me come filosofia di vita. Sono molto lieta che sia sembrata interessante ad altre persone. Ho scritto questa poesia nella mia lingua madre. So che la traduzione in un'altra lingua richiede un'ottima conoscenza delle peculiarità di entrambe le lingue. Pertanto, comprendendo la responsabilità di ogni parola, sono un po' preoccupata. Naturalmente, mi piacerebbe leggerla nella mia lingua madre, perché allora il suo significato sarebbe compreso da tutte le persone che vivono sulla Terra. Credo infantilmente che esista un linguaggio che unisce, perché i sentimenti sinceri esprimono sempre l'amore per la vita.»

5. Hai progetti futuri o sogni che vorresti realizzare?

«Sì, ne ho. Sono molto interessata al processo creativo e vorrei avere più tempo per la pittura. Quel tipo di arte visiva, la tecnologia delle illusioni ottiche o la tecnologia degli artisti del Rinascimento, è così stimolante. Il desiderio di lavorare in questo stile richiede uno studio attento dei processi naturali e il miglioramento delle mie capacità, lavorando sempre di più su me stessa. Spero di poter mostrare i risultati in mostre d'arte quest'anno. La poesia è un'area completamente diversa; posso solo ringraziare Dio per le rivelazioni e l'aiuto nel comprendere ciò che non può essere colto dalla logica ordinaria. Di solito non ho fretta di condividere le mie rivelazioni. Pertanto, il fatto di partecipare agli Olympus Arts Awards è una vera rivelazione per me. Sono grata dell'incontro con te Francesca Callipari. Dopo aver partecipato a una mostra di pittura al Museo d'Arte e Scienza di Milano, ho improvvisamente capito che questo era solo il meraviglioso inizio della nostra collaborazione.»

Olympus Arts Awards: interview with artist and poet Alla Sergiienko

On February 13th, the Museum of Art and Science in Milan will host the Olympus Arts Awards ceremony. Among the ten names selected for the Poetry Section is Alla Sergiienko, an artist and poet we learn more about here through this interview.

1. In your poetry, awakening is not just a biological fact, but an "encounter with the faces of the Universe." What does this "point" from which everything begins each morning mean to you?

"Awakening is a feeling of joy that fills a person in the morning hours, simply because you love life. Awakening can occur at the moment truth is discovered, when a series of knowledge, events, and personal life experiences miraculously come together and reveal the horizon of a previously unknown world. Awakening, as an impulse, as a result of an interaction—unconscious yet endowed with real momentum and support—can arise for the realization of an idea or project. It is a feeling that unites all spheres of a multifaceted personality. People are a unique creation whose body is a magnificent vessel, a house, a shelter for the soul, a subtle matter capable, like a child, of growing and developing harmoniously.

The 'point' in my poetry is a sign, a conventional expression of a person's essence, the center where all the potential and interests of the personality are coordinated. The point as an intersection of all spheres of human interaction. It is within this point that a holistic decision is made and active life begins anew each day. In my poem, a person's life and the development of their consciousness are associated with a flower: all its forms and qualities are inherent in the seed, and every day provides the conditions for their development.

In my view, in the morning, at the start of each day, a person experiences a special moment, one that determines the choice of the direction of development. In this point, in my opinion, personality qualities are concentrated, such as the ability to interact with oneself, build relationships with others, and adequately perceive events and conditions. From this point, man begins his journey and to it, he returns.

The 'faces of the universe' are those toward whom man hastens: divine beings, great figures of the past, those who left a legacy of luminous wisdom to humanity as a sign of care for future generations; and they are the people who currently have a genuine interest in life, who love it and know how to care for their own lives and the lives of others. In the beauty of nature, in its cycles and laws, I see the wisdom of the Creator; and in works of art, I see the mastery of those people who, through their work, have preserved a purity of perception of the human essence close to perfection—those who created music, paintings, and literary works that remain relevant across different times, for people of different ages, professions, and nationalities."

2. Write about the desire to convey messages in a "book of pure consciousness" through colors, orbits, and pulses of love. How does your artistic and visual perception influence your poetic creativity?

"Writing a poem always happens spontaneously; it comes as a response to a question, a cognitive interest, or a problematic situation. The poetic form defines a position with extreme precision; it is a rapid and true response. The motive for writing a poem can be either a reaction of disagreement or, conversely, a moment of admiration for how harmoniously everything is organized. For me, images, symbols, and signs are different manifestations of the diversity of a single world. Science, poetry, music, and painting are spheres where a person's potential can be beautifully realized. When I write a poem, I see it visually; I feel what I am writing about, and these sensations transform and flow into symbols of speech, signs on paper."

Каждое утро из точки

Я выхожу на свидание

С ликами мироздания.

Я обновляю одежду,

Я сохраняю надежду,

Что формирую послания

В книге сплошного сознания:

Знаки, орбиты движения,

Уровни их положения;

ЦвЕта эмоции, взрывы,

Нежность, любви порывы.

Образно, витиевато,

Скромно иль грубовато

Страница дня заполняется,

В родительский дом отправляется.

Утром послание от Бога —

Радость жизни, дорога,

Тепло, в нем вектор познания.

Истины. Вечного знания…

Иногда пустота, чувств нет.

Прошлый выгорел день, как бред.

Помогает утром надежда.

Новый путь. Лепесток-одежда.

Мироздания лики, друзья,

Сохраняют свет жизни любя.

The Flower of Life

Every morning from a single point

I go out on a date

With the images of the universe.

I renew my clothing,

I maintain hope,

That I am forming messages

In the book of pure consciousness:

Signs, orbits of movement,

Levels of their position;

Colors of emotions, explosions,

Tenderness, impulses of love.

Figuratively, elaborately,

Modestly or boldly,

The page of the day is filled,

And sent to the parental home.

In the morning, a message from God —

The joy of life, the road,

Warmth, in it the vector of knowing

The truth. Eternal knowledge.

Sometimes emptiness, no feelings.

The past day burned out, like a dream.

Hope helps in the morning.

A new path. A petal-garment.

The faces of the universe, my friends,

Preserve the light of life with love.

Every morning from a single point

I go out on a date

With the faces of the universe.

3. In a very human passage of the poem, it is acknowledged that "sometimes there is emptiness, a lack of feelings." How does hope—or what you call "garments made of petals"—transform this void into a new path?

"This part of the poem speaks to the fact that I can make mistakes and go in the wrong direction, contrary to what my natural instinct suggests. Currently, people live in a powerful information space; sometimes it seems that the connection with our natural origins is completely lost—that the world of others' ideas and the virtuality of reality have torn us from the context of life, spinning us so much that the sensation of the speed of real life has disappeared forever.

It is then that a feeling of anxiety instinctively arises and, in response, as a consolation, comes what I call hope in the poem: 'Look, not everything is so bad. A new day begins, and your loved ones are beside you, you are precious to them; colleagues are waiting for you at work, you are necessary to them; your friend called, they want to show you the sketch of a new painting.' Hope shows that you have someone and a place to go. I know that to meet my discoveries tomorrow, I must understand the error, return to the starting point, and begin moving in the right direction. Such 'errors' or seemingly 'unproductive' days are necessary for a person to develop certain virtues, inner qualities, and values. The 'petal of knowledge' of such a day is special: perhaps it differs in shape, color, or structure. Observe any flower; each of its petals has its own characteristics. The world is beautiful and harmonious!"

4. Being included among the 10 winners of the Olympus Arts Awards is an achievement that confirms the value of your journey. How do you feel about the idea of your poems being exhibited in such an important venue as the Museum of Art and Science in Milan?

"Being included among the winners with my poetry is significant and important to me. The fact is, the poem was not written for the competition; it contains something that once resonated within me as a philosophy of life. I am very pleased that it seemed interesting to other people. I wrote this poem in my mother tongue. I know that translation into another language requires an excellent knowledge of the peculiarities of both languages. Therefore, understanding the responsibility of every word, I am a little concerned. Naturally, I would like it to be read in my native language, because then its meaning would be understood by all people living on Earth. I believe child-like that a language exists that unites us, because sincere feelings always express a love for life."

5. Do you have future projects or dreams you would like to realize?

"Yes, I do. I am very interested in the creative process and would like to have more time for painting. That type of visual art—the technology of optical illusions or the techniques of Renaissance artists—is so inspiring. The desire to work in this style requires a careful study of natural processes and the improvement of my skills, constantly working on myself. I hope to be able to show the results in art exhibitions this year.

Poetry is a completely different area; I can only thank God for the revelations and the help in understanding what cannot be grasped by ordinary logic. Usually, I am in no hurry to share my revelations. Therefore, participating in the Olympus Arts Awards is a true revelation for me. I am grateful for the meeting with you, Francesca Callipari. After participating in a painting exhibition at the Museum of Art and Science in Milan, I suddenly realized that this was only the wonderful beginning of our collaboration."
