In occasione della Mostra Internazionale "Italy calls the world" che si svolgerà a New York dal 21 giugno presso la Fridman Gallery, abbiamo avuto il piacere di intervistare Nincho Kurashvili tra gli artisti selezionati per l'esposizione digitale.

1. Ciao Nincho, parla della tua formazione artistica, quando hai scoperto la tua passione?

Ho iniziato a disegnare all'età di cinque anni. Ciò che amavo di più era dipingere fiori; era la cosa più divertente per me e mi dava un'immensa gioia.

2. Per questa specifica esposizione a New York, quali tecniche o materiali hai scelto di utilizzare e perché ritieni che siano i più efficaci per trasmettere il messaggio della tua opera?

Il mio lavoro sarà presentato in formato digitale. Partecipare ad una mostra a New York è sia una grande sfida che una straordinaria opportunità per me, poiché sarà la prima volta che presento la mia arte al pubblico di questa città.

3. Il titolo "Italy Calls the World" suggerisce una connessione globale. Ci spieghi il significato delle opere che presenti?

Tutte e tre le opere riflettono le mie emozioni e percezioni personali:

Mysterious Woman: una donna che non torna più al suo passato, lasciandosi alle spalle ricordi ed esperienze che hanno segnato il suo cammino.

Lands in dialogue: un'interpretazione astratta delle storie intrecciate, delle lotte e delle connessioni tra due nazioni.

Mouse in the old town: un'opera che riflette la realtà della nostra esistenza contemporanea, ritraendo le sfide, le contraddizioni e lo spirito del mondo in cui viviamo oggi.

4. Se potessi incontrare un grande artista del passato, chi sceglieresti e perché?

Mi sarebbe piaciuto moltissimo incontrare Pablo Picasso. La sua visione artistica, la costante sperimentazione e la capacità di trasformare il linguaggio dell'arte continuano a ispirare gli artisti di tutto il mondo. Incontrarlo sarebbe stata un'opportunità unica per comprendere il suo processo creativo e le idee alla base del suo lavoro rivoluzionario.

5. Se un visitatore dovesse ricordare un'unica sensazione o un unico pensiero dopo aver osservato la tua opera in questa mostra, quale vorresti che fosse?

I miei lavori sono un'espressione di libertà ed emozione. Riflettono una costante ricerca del nuovo, il desiderio di dare voce a ciò che ha bisogno di essere detto e la natura mutevole degli stati d'animo e dei sentimenti umani. Attraverso la mia arte esploro la trasformazione, il movimento interiore e le emozioni che modellano la nostra percezione del mondo.

Interview with Nincho Kurashvili , one of the protagonists of the event "Italy Calls the World"

On the occasion of the International Exhibition "Italy Calls the World," which will take place in New York from June 21st at the Fridman Gallery, we had the pleasure of interviewing Nincho Kurashvili , one of the artists selected for the digital exhibition.

1. Tell us about your artistic background. When did you discover your passion?

I started drawing at the age of five. What I loved most was painting flowers. It was the most enjoyable thing for me and brought me immense pleasure.

2. For this specific exhibition in New York, what techniques or materials did you choose to use, and why do you think they are the most effective for conveying the message of your work?

My work will be presented digitally. Taking part in an exhibition in New York is both a great challenge and a remarkable opportunity for me, as it will be the first time I introduce my art to the New York public.

3. The title "Italy Calls the World" suggests a global connection. Could you explain the meaning behind the works you are presenting?

All three works reflect my emotions and personal perceptions:

Mysterious Woman: a woman who no longer returns to her past, leaving behind memories and experiences that have shaped her journey.

Lands in dialogue: an abstract interpretation of the intertwined histories, struggles, and connections between two nations.

Mouse in the old town: a work that reflects the reality of our present-day existence, portraying the challenges, contradictions, and spirit of the world we live in today.

4. If you could meet a great artist from the past, who would it be and why?

I would have loved to meet Pablo Picasso. His artistic vision, constant experimentation, and ability to transform the language of art continue to inspire artists around the world. Meeting him would have been a unique opportunity to learn about his creative process and the ideas behind his groundbreaking work.

5. If a visitor were to remember just one sensation or thought after viewing your work in this exhibition, what would you want it to be?

My works are an expression of freedom and emotion. They reflect a constant search for the new, a desire to give voice to what needs to be said, and the ever-changing nature of human moods and feelings. Through my art, I explore transformation, inner movement, and the emotions that shape our perception of the world.
