1. Patrizia, benvenuta.

From the pages of the soul to the heart of Paris: the poetry of Patrizia Faiello meets art at the Carrousel du Louvre

1. Patrizia, welcome. Being at the Carrousel du Louvre as part of the Art Shopping fair is an extraordinary achievement. How does it feel to bring your poetic voice into such a prestigious setting, one so rich in history?

"Thank you for providing this space to delve into my poetic work. It is an indescribable emotion—an experience that touches the deepest part of my being. To be in a place as rich in history and beauty as the Carrousel du Louvre means entrusting a part of myself to a space that serves as a symbol of universal art. Knowing that my words have found a home in such a prestigious context is both a great honor and a profound responsibility; it confirms that the written word, when it springs from the heart, knows no boundaries and can travel anywhere."

2. The piece you are contributing to the *Feed Your Soul* project is titled "My Dear Poetry" (*Mia cara Poesia*). The title sounds like a love letter or an intimate dialogue. What is the origin of this text?

"*Mia cara Poésie* began precisely as a declaration of love and gratitude toward poetry itself—which, for me, has served as a guide, a refuge, and the voice of my heart during some of life's more difficult moments. I experienced it as an intimate, sincere dialogue—an authentic encounter with the written word, moving beyond mere thought. Through the *Feed Your Soul* project, I wanted to offer a text that would not remain mine alone, but could instead become spiritual nourishment for anyone who reads it—a reminder that beauty belongs to everything capable of stirring our emotions, even through words."

3. Art Shopping is a fair traditionally associated with the visual arts (painting, sculpture, photography). How, in your view, does the poetic word fit into this visual context?

"I believe that poetry is, in every sense, a visual art of the heart." "While painting uses colors and sculpture uses physical material, poetry employs words to paint images, evoke forms, and sculpt feelings. In a setting like Art Shopping, the poetic word does not stand in opposition to the visual arts; rather, it complements them. It creates an invisible bridge between what is observed and what is perceived deep within, offering the visitor an even richer and more complete experience."

4. Paris has always been the capital of poets and artists. What impact do you think your text might have on the souls of the visitors who receive your poem as a gift?

"Paris possesses a unique magic—an atmosphere that, for centuries, has welcomed and amplified the sensibilities of artists. I hope that my text might leave a trace of light in the hearts of those who pass by—a moment for reflection amidst the frenzy of the fair, and perhaps beyond. I would like everyone to feel understood, touched by an authentic emotion, and to remember—if only for an instant—the beauty of pausing to listen to one's own inner feelings."

5. An experience of this caliber inevitably leaves a profound mark. What will you take away from this experience, and what projects do you hope to pursue in the future?

"First and foremost, I will cherish the enthusiasm sparked by this recognition, which—following my experience in New York—brings fresh energy and continuity to my international journey. Looking ahead, I wish to keep my words in motion, exploring new synergies with other art forms, such as music and the visual arts. I am currently working on new publishing projects, with the hope of bringing my voice into new cultural contexts, both nationally and internationally."
